Chambers and Family {Huntsville, AL Photographer}

I recently traveled to Green Mountain Park in Huntsville for several Spring Special sessions. My cousin, Katrina Chambers, was really the reason for most of the sessions that day. She contacted several of her friends and family and basically set up most of the sessions for me. Not only that, but she stayed all day to help me with the sessions!
Her niece, Jessica, also tagged along with her for the day and she also stayed and helped schlep props and hold stuff. It was pretty hot and I really appreciated them for staying to help out! Thank you Katrina and Jessica for being such troopers and helping out all day!
Theses are just a couple of shots of Katrina’s kids and nieces. I will post more sessions from that day soon!

And although Jessica, Katrina’s niece, didn’t plan to have her picture taken that day, I snapped a few of her while waiting on the last session. Her hair had been in a ponytail all day and she was hot and sweaty like the rest of us, but look at this gorgeous girl!

He’s graduating!?

Wow. I always thought when my oldest, Drake, graduated from high school I would be so excited and thrilled! Well, I am excited. But, I was not prepared for the other feelings. I am nervous, scared and worried too. Drake is about to enter a point in his life where he will be making some major adult decisions and, as a parent, you just hope you have prepared your child to be able to make the right decisions in life.
This entire blog post will embarrass Drake because he is much more introverted than I am and does not like attention. But being a proud mother, well, embarrassing your kids just comes with the job. Right?
Drake, you are kind, well-mannered, respectful and a great big brother and son. These are just a few of the things that make me very proud of you! But, my favorite thing about you is that, when you are not driving me crazy, you make me laugh! Maybe you got my silly sense of humor?
I took a few of Drake and his girlfriend, Taylor, goofing off.
Not my best look. No make-up, sweatshirt and sweaty hair. But Drake agreed to take a picture with me! Enough said.

I have known Lauren since forever. She has been going to school with Drake since kindergarten. She has grown into a gorgeous young lady and we had a great time for her senior portrait session.

Drake

My oldest, Drake, is a senior this year. We had our homecoming Friday night and Drake was part of the senior court. I was able to grab a few pics of him before he left the house. Drake has always dreaded having his picture made and it is really difficult to ever catch him smiling. He might stand still but he rarely looks happy about it! I was so glad to get some decent expressions from him…..finally!
